I'm glad you like Taffy!

The docs do have an extremely simple -- possibly too extreme? -- walkthrough for your first API, here: http://docs.taffy.io/2.2.3/#Quickstart-Your-First-API

Maybe the problem was that you missed the new docs location at http://docs.taffy.io/ ? I created it because I know how awful GitHub wikis can be for extensive/complex documentation.

Once you're good with the first example, the guides section has more extensive examples for various use-cases. I think the best place to start would be the "Dead Simple CRUD" example, which links here:

https://github.com/atuttle/Taffy/wiki/So-you-want-to:-Create-a-dead-simple-CRUD-API

That said, I'm a firm believer that documentation is never complete because it can always be better! Feel free to file issues (about the docs or the code) or send pull requests. The docs site itself is built from this repo: https://github.com/atuttle/TaffyDocs/

And if you ever need any help, we have a mailing list (linked from the docs site) and I usually lurk ##coldfusion on freenode. :)Adam Tuttlehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04405681058981624468noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7346414849418958633.post-45842340655193864512014-07-22T19:05:46.724-07:002014-07-22T19:05:46.724-07:00This comment has been removed by the author.Adam Tuttlehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04405681058981624468noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7346414849418958633.post-17636763581104892082014-07-22T14:52:34.285-07:002014-07-22T14:52:34.285-07:00Ooh... that's my first look at Taffy in action...Ooh... that's my first look at Taffy in action (sorry Adam Tuttle), and I like it! A few key things to double check:

- Yes for these purposes www and non www sites are different. So your bucket names need to reflect that. You can always use a godaddy or aws re-direct though.
- Trying waiting a bit, sometimes DNS changes can take 24 hours to settle
- Ensure your aws zone is correct, in my example I used eu-west but aws have many different zones.
- Ensure the website works on your S3 URL, if so copy this URL (minus the http) to your godaddy zone file.

Best of luck, if you're still having problems drop me an email.Jameshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18389992255635576218noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7346414849418958633.post-39195339889204130592013-08-20T04:18:26.440-07:002013-08-20T04:18:26.440-07:00Hi there, I followed your exact steps outlined her...Hi there, I followed your exact steps outlined here, but it is still not working for me.
